What is the correct format to enter a phone number in HHC Contacts on the BlackBerry?
Use the following format when entering/editing phone numbers in HHC on the handheld device.
Type Country Code [any key other then a numbered key] Area Code+Phone Number.
For example: To enter a number for US or Canada 1-800-555-1212, you would type:
1 [any key other then a numbered key] 8005551212 the number will be displayed on the Handheld as [1] 8005551212
Dashes are not accepted, only spaces between the: [Country Code] and [Phone Number].
