Clean up your BlackBerry home screen
Have you ever wanted to move around your BlackBerry home screen icons or text menus?
Do you wish you could get rid of the BlackBerry icons and menu items that you never use?
This tip is for you!
Move an icon or text menu item as follows.
- From your home screen, roll over to select the icon or text menu item you want to move.
- Hold ALT and click the trackwheel.
- Select Move Icon from the menu.
- Roll the trackwheel to move the item.
- Click the trackwheel to complete the move.
- From your home screen, roll over to select the icon or text menu you want to hide.
- Hold ALT and click the trackwheel.
- Select Hide Icon from the menu to remove it from view.
- From your home screen, Hold ALT and click the trackwheel.
- Select Show All (Hidden icons and menu items will have some method of showing they are hidden while in Show All mode - e.g. they will appear grayed out or have an X through them.)
- Locate the icon or menu you want to unhide, hold ALT and click the trackwheel.
- Select Hide Application to uncheck it.
- Now to get out of Show All mode, hold ALT and click the trackwheel, and select Show All to get rid of the other hidden applications, if any.
