How can I leave HHC open on the BlackBerry, so it always syncs on schedule, and "toggle" to another application such as e-mail or phone.

Knowing how to 'Toggle' between open applications on the BlackBerry is important because one of the HHC Applications MUST be open (or running in the background) on the device for it to maintain it's automatic sync schedule. If all HHC apps on the BlackBerry are closed, it will not continue to sync on it's own.

Use this technique to always leave one of the HHC applications open on the BlackBerry, allowing it to auto-sync, while you toggle over to your phone, e-mail or other applications on the device.

To "toggle" between open applications on the BlackBerry, follow these steps:

hold down the 'alt key' (half moon key under the 'A')
click in the 'escape key' (underneath the trackwheel on the side of the device)
you will see a 'mini-ribbon' with several icons appear
roll the trackwheel over the icon you want to goto, then click-in the trackwheel

ADDED BENEFIT: If you use ALT-ESC to leave an HHC application, when you enter it the next time, it OPENS INSTANTLY - NO MORE WAITING TO LOAD DATA!!

Note: You may only have one HHC application (Calendar, Task, Contacts) open at one time.
