New Handheld Contact computer application release

We're pleased to announce the release of our latest Handheld Contact computer applications for supported versions of ACT!.

Please visit www.handheldcontact.com/downloads.php, select your version of ACT!, and run the 'Handheld Contact ACT! Computer Application' to upgrade to the latest version of Handheld Contact.

This release includes these changes:

• Updated the Handheld Contact desktop application to run on Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. Please note that if .NET Framework 3.5 is not previously installed on the machine, this increases time required for installation (and upgrading) and the computer will require a restart.
• Updated sync scheduling process to eliminate memory leaks caused by environments configured to sync large amounts of ACT! data.
• Enhanced drop down lists that are selected for syncing to use less memory.
• In environments with memory issues, it was possible for the Handheld Contact desktop application to reset its own settings files. This would require the user to reconfigure the application. This issue has been corrected.
• Updated the DST handling to eliminate users in certain regions from seeing an incorrect contact birth date.
• Corrected an issue that caused an activity on the phone to be deleted after previously removing one of its multiple scheduled contacts.
• Updated reset password process to be user friendly.

• Handheld Contact Desktop Application 3.1.0.0 for ACT! 2009, ACT! 2008, and ACT! 2007.
