Introducing Android support and new pricing

The Handheld Contact team has been working hard over the past few months and today we're excited to announce several improvements to the Handheld Contact service.

Handheld Contact welcomes Android users

Our Handheld Contact Professional Edition app for Android is now available. View and manage your Sage ACT! contacts, activities, calendar, notes, history items, and more from our feature-rich Android app. And all Handheld Contact mobile device apps securely store your Sage ACT! data on the mobile device, so you can continue working with it even if you're out of WiFi or mobile network range.

The Handheld Contact Professional Edition Android app was tested on a unique set of smartphones and tablets. Unfortunately with so many Android-powered devices on the market, it's impossible for us to test on every single one. The Handheld Contact Professional Edition Android app should work great on the majority of smartphones and tablets, but if you're having any issues please let us now. Our developers are listening.

Handheld Contact Professional Edition now only $79/year

We've made some service adjustments to our best-selling Handheld Contact Professional Edition service that now makes pricing more flexible. Please note that these changes only apply to customers who subscribe to Professional Edition on a 1-year term after May 28, 2012.

  • Handheld Contact Professional Edition 1-Year subscription is now $79.00 per year and includes self-service online help and e-mail support.
     
  • Phone support is now a separate service for Handheld Contact Professional Edition 1-Year subscription customers offered as Premium Phone Support and Standard Phone Support.
     
    • Premium Phone Support: An optional add-on to any Handheld Contact Professional Edition 1-Year subscription during purchase. Customers with this add-on can take advantage of unlimited phone and remote computer support throughout the duration of their 1-year subscription. Price: $100/year.
       
    • Standard Phone Support: Available to any Handheld Contact Professional Edition 1-Year subscription customer who wishes to purchase phone support only when they need it. Price: $29 per 15 minutes (billed in 15 minute increments). Left over time will not be tracked.
       
  • Handheld Contact trial accounts: Phone support is available to 14-day free trial users during their trial period.
     
All subscriptions purchased prior to today include Premium Phone Support.

Premium Phone Support is included Handheld Contact Professional Edition monthly subscriptions.

Improved self-service support

We've upgraded the support section on HandheldContact.com to now include Knowledge Base articles, search, and a ticketing system to better serve our customers. Over the next several weeks we'll be improving the content and will of course always be adding new content so helpful online resources are available to you all the time.
