About The Information We Collect
KQC 's top priority is to provide a highly secure, user-friendly service that helps our Customers be more productive. To meet these priorities, KQC collects several pieces of personal information required for user authentication, billing and security, including: credit card number, billing name and address, e-mail address, password, and phone number for occasional support and account verification purposes. We collect this information when a customer sets up an account (trial or paid) and when a customer purchases our services. Customers who have paid for our service can log-in to the "My Account" section of our websites at any time to change or update their personal information. Customers can view their My Account profile and make sure that their information has been updated.
How We Use Personal Information
KQC uses the information collected to provide software, services and information to our Customers. We may use this information when we contact Customers who have expressed an interest in our Product or Company, and we may use this information to send our 'opt-in' Customers information about our Company or our marketing partners. Our Customer information is stored by KQC in secure databases on secure websites.
Separately, those customers who try or subscribe to our service are requested to provide an e- mail address, first name, last name, phone number and password to register for the service. We may send trial Customers information about subscribing to the service to which they can also "Opt-Out." Paid Customers may be contacted via e-mail regarding product updates or information about the Company and will receive our Customer Newsletter.
Customers can opt out of receiving any information via e-mail by responding to any e-mail communication with "unsubscribe" or sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Except when we state at the time of collection of information or where any of our Contact Service Agreement states, we do not share any Customer personal information ("Information") with any third parties. KQC uses a third party processor to perform the credit card verification, processing and billing. This third party processor is not allowed to store or use the Information we gather except for Customer credit verification and billing purposes. This processor is not permitted to sell or distribute the Information to anyone for any purpose.
The User Name and password is used to secure access for Customers to our servers to transmit their personal data to and from their wireless handheld device. Individual account information associated with the Username and password may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, a support issue, or suspected violation of any KQC Service Agreement, or if required by law.
To maintain the highest level of service, other information may be collected and analyzed during a Customer's use of our systems and services including: support requests submitted, data traffic volumes, customer feedback, overall service usage patterns.
Website Traffic Statistics
KQC tracks visits to its websites and compiles site usage statistics. We use these statistics to ensure our site meets user expectations. We frequently review domain names and browser types in these statistics. Names and other personal information are not tied to these web statistics.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. KQC uses session ID cookies during the purchase process and this cookie is terminated once the user closes the browser and is not permanently stored on the computer.
If users reject the cookie through their web browser settings, they may still use our site, but will be unable to complete a purchase of our service on our site. These users having problems with the purchase process should email us at: email@example.com.
Website Log Files
Like most standard Website servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service KQC (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Clear Gifs in E-mails
We may use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. Customers may opt-out of these emails by using the Opt-out information contained in each email or sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Special Offers and Updates
We send new customers and trial account users a welcoming email to verify password and user name. Trial users and customers will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our Customers we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Choice/Opt-out section in this policy.
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send Customers an email. Generally, Customers may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. These communications are not promotional in nature.
Though we make every effort to preserve Customer privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Website.
Changing Your Personal Information and Choice/Opt-out Services
If a Customer's personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), we provide a way to correct a Customer's personally identifiable information. Customers may update their personal information in the My Account or similar section of our web sites.
Additionally, Customers may request changes regarding their personal information, 'opt-out' status, or to have their information deleted and account deactivated by sending an email to our Customer Support at email@example.com.
